Winners Announced in Firestone's Mexico Trip Contest
|
Newton, MA - June 24, 2010 -
Two lucky Firestone Financial Corp. carnival customers have won all-expenses paid five-day trips for two to a luxurious resort in Cancun / Riviera Maya, Mexico. The contest marks Firestone’s 45th anniversary.
The winners, randomly drawn by AVP of Sales Tony Costanza from over 300 entries in Firestone’s first carnival customer incentive contest, are:
• Chicken Charlie's –- Owner Charlie Boghosian has been in the business for more than 20 years. He operates 5 concession trailers and plays large fairs in California. Besides his signature chicken dishes, he’s known for his deep fried concoctions.
• Marenna Amusements -- George Marenna, Jr. and George Marenna III. Based in Orange, CT, they have played events throughout Connecticut for over 25 years.
Firestone Financial is a leading independent provider of financing for income-generating equipment, mainly to the carnival and coin-op industries.
Costanza said, “We knew the contest would generate excitement, but even our most veteran staff were surprised by the interest, especially in light of the economy.” He noted that savvy customers have been negotiating deals on new and used equipment, and locking in attractive rates.
Under contest rules, one entry was earned for each new or used carnival equipment purchase financed through Firestone from January 4 to May 28. One additional entry was earned for every $50,000 funded, so one deal could result in multiple entries.
