Tom Varriale

Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing

Mr. Varriale brings more than 30 years of sales and marketing experience to the Firestone Financial executive team. He is responsible for overseeing the Sales and Marketing teams. Over his career, Mr. Varriale has served in sales executive positions at Sophos, IntelliReach, Workshare and iETSolutions. Additionally, he worked at Lotus Development (now IBM), Progress Software, Applix and Nuance Communications in a variety of Marketing executive positions. Immediately before joining Firestone Financial, Mr. Varriale worked as an independent consultant. 

Mr. Varriale holds a B.A. degree from Colgate University and an M.B.A from Babson College.

Adam Bronkella

Assistant Vice President – Sales Support

Adam Bronkella has 18 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. He has been a member of the Firestone Financial Management team since 2006. Adam has managed almost every team within the Firestone organization including Credit, Loan Operations, X-press Loans and currently leads the Sales Support team.  Prior to joining Firestone, Adam worked at Automotive Finance Corporation primarily as the Sr. Credit Analyst and also as an Asst. Branch Manager.

Adam is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana – moving to Massachusetts in 2005.  He graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a BS in Business Administration with an Accounting Minor. He and his wife currently reside in Waltham, MA. When not in the office, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, bike riding, watching his Indianapolis Colts and Boston Red Sox, and any and all things related to summer.

Sal Cifala

Assistant Vice President, Sales  Amusement

Sal Cifala has been an integral part of Firestone’s team since 1996 having worked in several different areas of the company including Sales, Credit and Asset Management. Sal’s role for the organization includes managing strategic relationships with our manufacturers, distributors, and operators in the amusement, vending and gaming industries.

Prior to joining Firestone, Sal worked for Robert Half and Associates and Putnam Investments.  He studied at Bentley College and attended the AMOA Notre Dame Management Program. He has three children and enjoys coaching their various activities including basketball, soccer, and softball.

Spencer Norton

Sales Executive – Entertainment Centers

Spencer Norton joined Firestone Financial in 2005 as an inside sales representative and has worked his way up within the sales organization. He plays a critical role for the organization in developing and growing relationships with our manufacturers, distributors, operators, and family fun centers in the amusement and vending industries. 

Prior to joining Firestone, Spencer was an executive recruiter with Commonwealth Resources, responsible for recruitment and placement of commercial general contractors in New England. A native of Peaks Island, Maine, Spencer earned his BS degree in Finance from Babson College. When he’s not helping clients with financing needs, he enjoys cooking, skiing, and sailing.

Rich Gockelman

Sales Executive – Carnival and Amusement Park

Rich Gockelman has over 20 years of business development and client relationship management experience in the investment and lending industry. He most recently joined Firestone from Ocwen Financial, where he consulted with business owners to outsource their wholesale residential loans using a comprehensive third party loan origination platform. Rich plays a critical role in helping customers in the Carnival and Amusement Park industry finance their equipment and meet their working capital business needs.

Rich has served in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal and Infantry Squad Leader with the First Marine Division, 3rd Battalion 9th Marines. He is a graduate of Northeastern University with a BS degree in Criminal Justice. Rich enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children. He is also active in his church and other civic organizations.  

Carol Francis

Vice President – Business Development

Carol Francis has over a 20 year track record in sales and marketing in the financial services industry. She leads all fitness initiatives for Firestone and plays a critical role in helping club owners and fitness franchisees with their financial needs. Additionally, she is the company's administrator.

Carol earned her B.A. from the University of Massachusetts - Lowell, and her MBA from Babson College. She has held marketing positions at TimePayment / MicroFinancial, Deutsche Financial Services, AT&T Capital Leasing Services and Bayer Financial Services. She was also a Managing Partner of a consulting company. She and her family live in the Boston area.

Peter Aldrich

Inside Sales Professional – Amusement and Vending

Pete Aldrich has 30 years of front-line experience in the Financial Services industry. He has been a vital member of Firestone Financial, working with the Inside Sales team since 2001. Prior to joining Firestone, Pete was the Operations Manager for 13 years at Leasecom (Micro Financial).

Among his many business and professional affiliations are: Boston Banking and Financial Services Professionals, Equipment Leasing Professionals, Equipment Leasing & Finance Association and Foundation (ELFA), Outdoor Amusement Business Association, and the University of Phoenix Alumni Association. 

Pete grew up in Quincy, MA and currently resides in the neighboring town of Milton, MA with his family. When not in the office, Pete can be found volunteering in town, scoping out the local restaurant scene, weight training at the gym, or kicking back with his latest craft beer find.

Christian Campbell

Commercial Account Executive – Business Development

Christian Campbell joined Firestone Financial in 2017 as a commercial credit analyst and transitioned to the sales team in 2018. Christian has been in the equipment finance industry since 2010 in a variety of credit and relationship management roles. He led the charge in starting Firestone’s specialty vehicle financing segment and is also a member of the fitness finance team, working with franchisees and club owners to help obtain financing for their new fitness clubs.

Christian has lived in the Boston area his whole life and earned his B.S. in finance from Salem State University. Despite his Boston roots, he is a lifelong Los Angeles Lakers fan. In his free time, Christian enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, weightlifting, and watching NBA and NCAA basketball.

Leah Siporin

Assistant Vice President – Marketing

Leah Siporin has over 15 years of experience in marketing, with extensive experience in the financial services industry. She joined Firestone Financial in 2018 where she leads the strategic development of their marketing presence, including external communications, website management, and content creation. Prior to joining Firestone, Leah worked at Cambridge Trust Company as their Digital Marketing Director.

Leah received degrees from Ithaca College in communications and writing. Based in Boston since graduation, she enjoys running the streets of Boston, knitting, and getting outside as much as possible.
